Large Plastics Manufacturing                                                     (1997-Present)
      Senior Project Manager (2005-Present)
      Oversee beverage packaging product launches for major corporations, including PepsiCo International, Coca Cola and COTT Industries for projects with budgets of up to $7 million.
       Act as liaison between customers and O-I, Inc., working closely with customers throughout product development.
       Perform extensive product testing to ensure product performance is to customer specification.
       Source out vendors and conduct price comparisons for the best costs of materials.
      Oversaw product production of FLODS VII, which generated a profit of $3 million.
      Reduced costs by 15% through careful analysis and implementation of design changes.
     
Senor Project Manager (2003-2005)
      Provided project management leadership for over 18 projects, creating medical devices for Medical Dervice Manfucture. Managed project budget of $2 to $4 million and staff of 10.
      Managed, qualified and launched production of a 510K Injection Safety Syringe, which created an annual volume exceeding 100 million units for capital budget $8 million and lead a team of 7+ staff.
     
Technical Manager/Project Manager - Singapore (2001-2003)
        Led project team to set up three factories in Singapore for production of three platforms of Hewlett-Packard Ink-jet cartridges. Production included 27 molds, 12 injection molding, one blow molding, one hot stamping, five automatic assembly machines and one filling line. Installed production equipment while working closely with both the United States and Singapore operations. Managed budget of $24 million and 15+ staff, hired over 20 salaried staff and supervised the hiring of 150 hourly workers.
Selected site and oversaw all start-up activities of a 150,000 sq. ft. production facility. Administered contracts. Sourced and hired vendors and supervised facility preparation. Hired, trained and supervised new staff.
Oversaw the transfer of equipment from the United States to Singapore, complying with all United States and Singapore customs laws and regulations.
     
Team Leader/New Product Development Manager (1997-2001)
        Managed budget of $20 million and 7+ staff members. Acquired, qualified and launched into production 16 ink-jet cartridge molds at a cost of $9 million.
        Managed the qualification and released to production three 60 parts per minute automatic assembly machines costing $45 million.
 
World's Largest non-aerosol Spray Dispensing Manufacture                         (1995-1997)
      Manager Product Development/Chief Technology Officer
        Provided managerial leadership and technical liaison on an international basis with manufacturing, sales, marketing and customer for design and development of regular and trigger sprayers.
        Managed over 45 short- and long-term projects. Capital cost ranged from $50,000 to $4.5 million.
        Led department move from California to Missouri. Installed and operated a state-of-the-art CAD/CAE SDRC Ideas system for Solid Modeling, Drafting, Finite Element Analysis and Mold Flow Analysis.
        Organized a new department by recruiting over 10 staff members.
        Developed design control procedures and obtained ISO9001 certification.
       Increased sales by $3.4 million per year due to long-range planning and robust design.
